Before proposals arrive
Roof replacement bid request template for comparable proposals.
This free printable template helps Indiana property managers, rental investors, and HOA or condo boards ask every bidder the same written questions before two to four proposals arrive. Use it for one residential asphalt-shingle project to align the project basis, base scope, uncertain-cost rules, schedule, payment, and warranty responses before comparing totals.

For a repeatable process
Keep the pricing structure visible
- Ask for the base price and alternates separately.
- Ask for a building or phase breakdown when more than one roof area is involved.
- Ask the bidder to state its access, staging, property-protection, and occupied-property plan.
- Keep one brief per property; do not infer that one property's scope applies to another.

If you manage eligible projects repeatedly, the existing inquiry optionally asks how many you compared in the last 90 days and when the next need may occur. That is research only; no recurring offer or order exists.

Have an Indiana project question?
Read the fictional sample first. The prepared email asks for your city and state, residential asphalt-roof confirmation, bid count, role, main question, what decision the sample helps with, and what you would choose at $97. Completing the prompts may avoid a follow-up.
If you manage properties or association projects, also include approximately how many eligible roofing projects you compared in the past 90 days and when you may next need a comparison.
Do not send bids, attachments, street addresses, client names or payment information.
If the button does not open your email app, write support@trybidhound.com with the subject “Roof comparison inquiry”. Include the same project details above and no attachments or sensitive information.
No order, reservation, payment, document submission, delivery promise or subscription.
