About the planned service

BidHound is preparing a custom electronic comparison of two to four customer-supplied bids for one residential asphalt-roof project. The initial pilot is limited to Indiana customers and Indiana projects, with up to three accepted orders.

The report compares documented scope, quantities, materials, costs, exclusions, payment terms and supplied warranty wording. It identifies missing information and questions to ask. It does not provide an inspection, repair prescription, engineering opinion, legal advice, insurance adjustment, background investigation, contractor ranking or guarantee of workmanship or savings.

Price and order acceptance

The pilot price is $97 USD for one comparison, with no subscription or paid upgrade. The final amount is shown before payment. We confirm that the documents are complete enough to compare, reserve capacity and agree on a delivery date before issuing an order-specific checkout.

An inquiry or uploaded attachment is not acceptance of an order. Do not send payment details by email. Work begins after the agreed scope and provider-confirmed payment are matched to the order.

Documents and accuracy

You must be authorized to share the bids. Supply all relevant pages and remove unnecessary personal and financial information. We work from the supplied documents, identify assumptions and mark unknowns. Conditions at the property and future contractor performance cannot be established from a bid alone.

If a source is missing, unreadable or contradictory, we ask for clarification. If that affects the agreed delivery date, we explain the effect and agree on next steps before continuing.

Delivery, corrections and refunds

The report is delivered electronically to the agreed email address. We confirm an achievable delivery date for each order before payment rather than promising an untested universal turnaround. If we cannot fulfill the accepted scope, we refund the purchase.

Request a full refund within 30 days after delivery by replying to the delivery email. No reason is required. You may also cancel for a full refund before delivery. Refunds are returned through the original payment method; bank processing time is outside our control.

If you identify a factual or calculation error, reply with the source reference so we can review and correct it. This does not limit the refund promise.
